At the first stage of the process, cold water travels down a 4.5 km long pipe into an injection well. After that, the water goes through an area called the geothermal zone, which contains a lot of hot rocks used to increase the temperature of the water .
At the next step, the hot water is transferred into another well called the production well where it is pumped up to a condenser, ready for the next stage. In the condenser, the water transforms into steam and is used to power a turbine, which activates a generator to produce electricity. The resulting electricity is distributed for different purposes via various electricity grids .

Nhìn chung, có năm tiến trình riêng không liên quan gì đến nhau trong quy trình sản xuất điện từ nguồn năng lượng địa nhiệt, mở màn bằng việc bơm nước lạnh xuống và kết thúc bằng việc sản xuất điện bằng máy phát điện .
